Principals of Ricker | Cunningham (RC) were engaged by the Town of Silverthorne and Silverthorne Urban Renewal Authority to function as their Financial and Development Advisor as they implement the community’s first catalyst project in a new urban district being positioned to operate as its “downtown commercial core.” Having assisted with creation of the Silverthorne urban renewal area, facilitation of its strategic asset management plan and development of its design code, operating in this capacity was a logical extension of previous assignments. After selection of Milender White as the Town’s development partner, a mixed-use program including a boutique hotel and restaurant, attached ownership residential property, commercial space including a market hall and parking structure was solidified. Negotiations are actively underway to finalize the partners’ financial contributions to the project, as well as complete the bond underwriting due diligence and special district election.
