Ricker | Cunningham is a leading real estate advisory firm, based in Denver, yet servicing clients primarily throughout the Central and Southwestern United States. Anne Ricker, together with her partner Bill Cunningham, established their practice in February 1993 under the name Leland Consulting Group. They shared this moniker with a Portland, Oregon firm until 2010 when they rebranded as Ricker | Cunningham. 

As Real Estate Economists and Community Strategists, Anne and Bill assist clients with understanding opportunities for, and barriers to investment and reinvestment while defining tools and tactics to achieve success. Anne and Bill are widely recognized for their unique approach to interpreting support for real estate products in a range of different markets, translating their findings into investment opportunities for various developer and lender audiences; and, adapting policy and regulating environments to support the same. They are frequently engaged in bridging the dialogue between public, private and community audiences and advancing redevelopment initiatives.

Marshalltown Downtown Master Plan
Marshalltown Downtown Master Plan

Principals of Ricker | Cunningham (RC), together with the Planning and Urban Design Division of SEH, a St. Paul-based engineering and design firm with offices in nine cities, were selected by the City of Marshalltown, Iowa to assist with developing a plan for the renaissance of their Downtown Core and Historic Main Street District, following its decimation on July 19, 2018 when it was hit by an EF-3 tornado.

Principals of Ricker | Cunningham (RC) have been working with the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado’s Urban Renewal Authority since 2009, preparing documentation necessary for creation of more than eight (8) separate planning areas; establishing the board’s strategic business plan, policies, and protocols; reviewing development funding requests; and currently, designing a program for monitoring incremental tax revenues and ensuring greater predictability.

Principals of Ricker | Cunningham (RC) were engaged by the Town of Silverthorne and Silverthorne Urban Renewal Authority to function as their Financial and Development Advisor as they implement the community’s first catalyst project in a new urban district being positioned to operate as its “downtown commercial core.”
